Sustainability is something I care deeply about, and wherever possible I try to ensure the flowers used for weddings and events have a life beyond the celebration itself. Flowers are naturally beautiful but also temporary, so finding thoughtful ways to reuse and repurpose them is an important part of my approach.

Repurposing Flowers

Whenever possible, arrangements can be repurposed throughout your wedding day. Ceremony flowers may be moved to the reception space, large installations can become beautiful backdrops for the evening, and table arrangements can continue to be enjoyed long after the celebration finishes.

Giving Flowers a Second Life

After the event, many of the flowers can continue to bring joy. I work with organisations who transform used wedding flowers into something meaningful for others.

Floral Angels collect flowers after events and lovingly repurpose them into hand-tied bouquets that are delivered to elderly people and those who may be experiencing loneliness or isolation. It’s a beautiful way for your wedding flowers to continue spreading happiness.

 

Turning Flowers into Confetti

Flowers can also be given a second life through the Confetti Club, where petals are carefully dried and turned into natural biodegradable confetti. The profits from this initiative are donated to Cancer Research, meaning your wedding flowers can help contribute to an important cause.

 

Responsible Waste

Any remaining green waste from the design and installation process is fully composted, ensuring that as little as possible goes to landfill. Flowers are a natural product, and composting allows them to return back to the earth in a responsible way.
